Can't browse VISTA -General ideas-

  • Turn off internal firewall (Windows Firewall - under Control Panels')
  • Check for Proxy settings, in the internet options.
  • Check for other anitivirus or firewalls installed (Norton, McaFee, Zone Alarm) If found, suggest to fully disable the program. (Remember to remind them to re-enable it later).
  • Older systems, you might want to check 'modem drivers'.

    (If you have check the above, and the user has only 1 ph. line, suggest to run a ping test and write down the results.
