Listing Your Item on

To sell your item on eBay, just click on 'Sell' from the main eBay page.

Here's what it will look like:

Enter your eBay username and password, then the title of the item.

Now you'll need to type in the address of your picture. You should already have it on bright.net's web server, so the address will be "http://www.bright.net/~username/picture.jpg".

Now select the category you want your item to be listed in.

Fill out the description:

Like it says above - you can put more than one picture in your listing. You'll have to add a tag for each picture you put in the description - it should be:

<img src="http://www.bright.net/~username/picture.jpg">

(For help on formatting and other HTML help check out our HTML tutorials)

You'll then have other options to fill out, such as payment method, your location, where you will ship to, the duration of the auction, and other choices you'll have to make.

Once you hit review at the bottom, eBay will give you a chance to go over all the information you put in and show you what the auction page will look like.

Make sure it looks the way you want it to, then proceed to the next screen. eBay will put up a temporary page for the auction and will email you the link to the real auction page once it's up. Bookmark that page so that you can check up on it frequently and see how it's doing.

That's all there is to it - good luck with your auctions!
